Laser therapy applied to dentistry

“The laser has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and hemostatic properties”

The use of lasers in dentistry has become more and more frequent. The method has proven effective in aesthetic, surgical, and therapeutic procedures. The laser is a source of pure light, emitted at a certain wavelength, each tissue of the body responding differently to each wavelength, thus generating therapeutic healing properties, soft tissue and hard tissue (bones and teeth) and microbial decontamination.

Piezoelectric method:

The surgery using the piezoelectric is more accurate and efficient when compared with conventional methods. The equipment is able to selectively cut the bone, preserving adjacent soft and hard tissues (gums, cheeks, lips, roots of the teeth and nerves), provides a blood-free surgical field, easy to see.

“Clinical studies have shown that client recovery is much calmer after piezoelectric surgery because bone healing is accelerated and lack of heating decreases the possibility of edema occurrences”
